Mets open at 10-1 odds to win 2016 World Series

The Mets opened at 10-1 odds to win the World Series in 2016, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook (Nov. 2).

The Blue Jays, Cubs and Nationals are also 10-1, while the Dodgers are currently the favorite at 8-1.

The Mets are the clear front runners from their division, with Vegas putting the Marlins at 60-1, Braves at 100-1 and Phillies 300-1 odds.

The Mets opened last season at 40-1 odds (Oct. 30, 2014) and were 25-1 by mid-December (Dec. 21).
