Mets GM Sandy Alderson will not attend the GM Meetings in Florida due to a previously scheduled medical procedure, Assistant GM John Ricco said on Monday.
Ricco, Paul DePodesta and J.P. Ricciardi will be in attendance at the GM Meetings in Alderson’s absence.
Alderson recently collapsed at a press conference introducing Terry Collins’ new contract as manager, though this procedure is unrelated to that incident (Nov. 4).
