Citi Energizes Mets Fans With “Let’s Go Mets” Campaign

The Mets return home tonight for the first World Series game in Citi Field history, and the team is hoping to use home field advantage to help turn the tide back in their favor.

To help rally the fanbase, Citi is hosting a “Let’s Go Mets” fan experience today in Times Square starting at 2pm with a special appearance by Mets legend John Franco.

Fans in attendance will receive free giveaways courtesy of Citi and have the opportunity to ride stationary Mets-wrapped Citi Bikes that will help generate the power to help light the “crown” of One Court Square, Queens’ tallest building, in orange and blue beginning Friday night. During the games at Citi Field, the lights will “react” to on-field action, with bursts of light upon a Mets home run, red/white/blue during the national anthem and more.

In addition to the fan experience, Citi and Mr. Met have teamed up to produce a series of “Let’s Go Mets” videos that will get you excited to cheer on the Orange and Blue >> Watch all of the videos here and Let’s Go Mets!
