Legendary Mets catcher Mike Piazza, who was on the last Mets team to reach the World Series, will return to Citi Field and throw the ceremonial first pitch before Game 3 of the World Series on Friday.
Piazza, who last threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Subway Series on Sept. 20, has been rooting avidly for his former team over Twitter throughout the playoffs.
