New York Rep. Steve Israel and California Rep. Adam Schiff made a wager on the Mets-Dodgers NLDS. Schiff wagered gourmet popcorn from California while Israel wagered New York bagels. The loser was also required to make a one minute speech on the House Floor praising the winning team.
The Mets went on to beat the Dodgers in five games. Schiff made good on losing the bet by singing ‘Meet the Mets’ on Friday.
