Yost tells Royals not to work out, will sit Morales in Game 3

Royals manager Ned Yost told the team to not work out at Citi Field on Thursday in advance of Friday’s Game 3 of the World Series (Oct. 29).

Yost also told reporters he will sit Kendrys Morales in Game 3 without the DH in the National League.

Additionally, Yost said he’s still planning to start RHP Chris Young in Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday.

Young didn’t allow a hit, walked one and struck out four while throwing 50 pitches in three innings of relief during the Royals’ Game 1 win.
