In case you missed it on Tuesday…

Jacob deGrom allowed two runs in seven innings as the Mets beat the Cubs, 5-2, Tuesday night in Chicago to take a 3-0 lead in the NLCS.


Matt Harvey is on track to start Game 5 (if necessary).Harvey was hit in the arm with a line drive during Game 1.

During Game 3, Daniel Murphy hit a home run in his fifth consecutive postseason game, joining Carlos Beltran (2004, Astros) as the only players in history to accomplish that feat.

Zack Wheeler, who had Tommy John surgery in March, is aiming to return to the Mets during June, 2016.

What’s on Tap tonight for Game 4…

The Mets play Game 4 of the NLCS against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Wednesday night at 8:07 p.m. ET as they’re now one win away from advancing to the World Series.

Steven Matz will start for the Mets, opposed by Jason Hammel for the Cubs.
