Today is Oct. 21, 2015, the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to the future in the film Back to the Future II.
In the movie, it is revealed that the Cubs won the 2015 World Series against Miami.
In real life, however, the Cubs trail the Mets 3-0 in the NL Championship Series, with Game 4 being played tonight at 8 pm.

That’s cute. Thankfully, it’s just a movie. However, it would be very weird and kind of spooky should the Mets end Chicago’s dreams and BTTF’s prediction tonight, in a four-game sweep, eliminating the Cubs from the postseason, on the exact day the film predicted, 26 years ago, they’d finally win a title. I loved this movie growing up. I never imagined it’d be the Mets who were in the position to make this not happen.
