How will the long layoff impact the Mets?

By the time the Mets start the World Series on Tuesday in Kansas City, they will have had six days off.

Of the seven teams who have swept the LCS since 1985, just one (the 1995 Braves) has gone on to win the World Series.

The 1988 and 1990 Athletics, the 2006 Tigers, 2007 Rockies, the 2012 Tigers, and 2014 Royals all lost the World Series after sweeping the LCS and having long layoffs.

So, how will the long layoff impact the Mets?
