Mets manager Terry Collins is a finalist for the Manager of the Year award, which will be announced Tuesday by MLB.
Mike Matheny of the Cardinals and Joe Maddon of the Cubs are also being considered for the award, which was voted on prior to the postseason.
Collins led the Mets to a 90-72 regular-season record in 2015 and helped guide them to the World Series, where they lost to the Royals in five games. It was his first winning season as Mets manager, having finished under .500 from 2011-2014.
Collins, 66, signed a two-year extension after the World Series that runs through 2017.
