If you're going to get experimental with design and color, the bathroom, a small area hidden away in most floor plans, is a safe place to start. Take the bath at the Durslade Farmhouse in Somerset, for example, where owners and art dealers Iwan Wirth and Manuela Hauser created an eclectic color palette with framed butterfly specimens and retro fixtures. The bath is really a custom look—an art piece on its own—but here we've pieced out some key elements to replicate the look at home, if you dare.
