Mets will start Syndergaard in Game 2, deGrom in Game 3 and Matz in Game 4

The Mets have outlined their starting rotation for Games 2-4 of the NLCS, Terry Collins announced.

Noah Syndergaard will start Game 2 after pitching in relief during Game 5 of the NLDS are earning a hold.

“He’s got no stiffness, no soreness anywhere,” Collins explained. “He said he wants to pitch and we want him out there.”

Jacob deGrom will start Game 3, while Steven Matz will start Game 4.

Matz will also be available out of the bullpen during Game 1, Terry Collins said. Matt Harvey will start the first game of the series for New York.
