Injured SS Ruben Tejada will be in attendance at Citi Field during the National League Championship Series (Oct. 16).
Tejada broke his right fibula when Chase Utley slid hard into second base in Game 2 of the NLDS.
“I would expect him to be here,” manager Terry Collins said, when asked if Tejada will attend home game.
Tejada got a loud cheer during Game 3 when he was announced as part of the starting lineup. He limed out onto the field wearing a walking boot and using a Mets cane.
SS Matt Reynolds was added to the roster to replace Tejada.
